I love Grace Bryers’ book, I Am Enough. Each page is a reminder to authentically love yourself. It is a children’s book, as relevant to the adult reading it as it is to the child listening. The opening line, ‘Like the Sun, I’m Here to Shine,’ is the inspiration behind my latest piece of the same name.
 
The quote is embroidered into the surface of the piece as a daily reminder, we are not here to simply survive, but to shine. A sentiment that I easily lose sight of in the overwhelm of adulting, parenting, and navigating our world. Here to remind you (and myself once again) that you are here to shine.
