Girl Talk: Racial Make-up

Ten women share how they understand the relationship between race and sexuality. While some of their stories and experiences are evidence of a long history of racism and the corruption of sexuality in our country, they are also witnesses to the change taking place. The women in this book take on the courageous task of sharing and examining the impact of race and sexuality in their own heterosexual relationships in an effort to give each of us the tools to better understand our own sexuality and racial identity.
